Maybe you could add an extra B vitamin to your daily routine? I took B6, but a friend of mine took another one. That might help the Zofran a little.

EAting helped with my morning sickness, so I ate like a cow. I also wore sea/psi bands. They helped a little.

@banana: It worked for me, but because they did work, I never took them off. I eventually had to stop because the only ones I could find were too tight and left me with bruises and hand swelling. But they got me through a few scary subway commutes with morning sickness.

Ginger tea made with fresh ginger, lemon (juice or just the smell), preggo pops, and crackers helped me. Good luck!

Did the seaband/wrist band things really work? Some people say it has a placebo effect but some swear that it works. Might have to run to the store and buy some asap!

Oh man, I feel your pain. Zofran helps, but like you said, it doesn’t work all the time. If you’re having really bad morning sickness at night like I was, my doctor also give me an Rx for a suppository to take which works *really* well at fighting the nausea, but also makes me super tired, so I can only take it before bedtime. Might be something to ask your doc about.

People advise ginger, saltines, ginger ale, peppermint, other crackers but honestly – none of that did anything at all to help me. It just sucks. BUT, it WILL get better!! I’m 15 weeks now, and still have some morning sickness, but mostly only at night and not every night, whereas before it was 24/7. Good luck!

p.s. (TMIish) Don’t know if your doctor told you, but Zofran can cause really bad constipation, so make sure you are getting enough fluids and fruit and stuff, and be aware that might happen. Luckily, there are things you can take for constipation, but yeah, it sucks :/

I second the saltines. I also used those pressure point wristbands, which was actually the best thing I tried. (You just have to be careful and not wear it for 3 days in a row without taking them off like I did.) Also, sour sucking candies helped, too.

My morning sickness is just killing me! It's so bad I can't keep anything down and it's driving me insane! I have like 7 weeks to go before reaching the 2nd trimester and I just don't know how I'm gonna deal. I have a prescription for Zofran but it doesn't work ALL the time.

What are/were your remedies for dealing with morning sickness?
