My LO is a bath hater. New toys and bath-loving friends have helped us the most. Good luck.

DD went through this exact thing around 18 months. It's just a phase and went away after a couple weeks. Try some new toys she hasn't seen!

Same thing around that age. Lasted a week or two. I got in and played a ton in super shallow water for a bit, and did some washcloth wipe-downs instead of baths. It passed.

@NurseMommy: Ugh we went through this at the exact same time! It lasted a few weeks unfortunately and she screamed like we were torturing her every time we bathed her. So we just took less baths and then one day she randomly was fine again! Hang in there!

(Also funny story - the day she randomly started being fine again was also the first time she ever pooped in the tub, so my husband and I had to totally not freak out / say anything to upset her so she wouldn't get scared of the bath again!)

We use an inflatable tub inside the bathtub--not expensive. One of my guys just freaks out in the big bathtub! We are using this one at 22 months and they have plenty of room: http://www.amazon.com/Disney-Inflatable-Bathtub-Pixar-Cars/dp/B004FTQ98O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417794314&sr=8-1&keywords=cars+bathtub

DD will not get in the bath unless her toys are in there first. Maybe try to add some new toys in?

We went through this around the same age. I took showers with her for a couple weeks which she didn't mind, and then one night my friend and I put both of our kids in the bath together - my LO saw her friend (close in age) having fun, and she was cured!

LO went through this once, it was so random but only lasted a few days. Can you try getting in the bath with LO?

Guys, I'm at a total loss. LO (18 months) has LOVED bathtime since she was tiny. She has one every night. Sunday I bathed her, all was fine and dandy, nothing out of the ordinary happened. Monday we tried to bathe her and she FREAKED. OUT. Same thing for the next three days. She is such a chill kid that this is really out of character for her and I honestly don't know what's going on or how to fix it!!
