@Weagle @looch: Thanks ladies! I hadn't even thought about how quick you can get in with a sick LO! And I really like the email question for non-emergencies. I can text/email my midwife whenever and have enjoyed that accessibility SO very much. That would be so handy for a LO to give a new mom some peace of mind.

Pick your top 3 concerns and ask about those. Other than that, how quickly you can get it, who covers when the doctor is off/out of town, at which hospitals do they have privileges, and can you email non-emergency questions (never realized I would consider this SO helpful!)

I have a 28 month old son, but what is important to me NOW is being able to be seen when we need to. The first 2 years of his life we were only there for the scheduled visits. What I didn't realize at the time was how critical it is to be seen when the kid is sick, so what is their sick kid policy, do they have a paging service, a nurse line to ask questions, that kind of thing.

We are interviewing a pediatrician in a few hours and I have NO clue what to even ask! Help please!

We are planning on a homebirth, which we know she is supportive of. Besides that I know breast feeding is important to me, my DH and I have different views on vaccines so we will most likely prefer a delayed vaccine schedule and I usually prefer to take a natural/more "crunchy" approach to things before medical interventions.

So, I plan to discuss those things, but what else should I be asking? Thanks ladies!
