I just think it looks more peaceful than the contrast between the grey and light peach, and the darker peaches get too bright for the look that I am going for. Calming, and peaceful is the feel that I am going for, but the purple is totally out ;) </p> <p>I haven't decided what I want to do for the accent color yet, but my mom made a good suggestion. We will paint the walls first and then go buy a sheet or something in the accent color that we think we want, and hang it in there and see what we think before I start committing to all the accessories, etc. The dresser is really big, and I don't want it to take over, I may just paint it a creamy white to match the crib once it gets here. It's too light. The dark gray and dark furniture would be better suited by a deeper peach. I want to do a version of the "move mountains" wall, obviously replacing "him" with "her". The one wall will be the gray color. My sil will paint the trees and lettering for us. The other three walls will be either the peach or the light purple, but I can't decide which. I have included a picture of the crib that we will be getting (if you have any other affordable crib suggestions, feel free to include links :). </p> <p>I will be painting the mirror that I have included pictures of and distressing the dresser/changing table. My original plan was to do these accents in teal. I love the teal with the peach, but am not sure how I feel about it with the purple.
