I'd do the 36x54 crib blanket size, just because I think it would be more versatile. It's still not too big that you can't use it to tuck around them in a car seat or stroller, especially if you fold it in half. Also, folded in half it makes a great bit of padding to be able to plop them down on the floor for some tummy time wherever you are. I have a lovely thick one that a friend made me that was great for that when I was out at various mom & baby group classes.

12x12 for a little security type blanket/toy/lovey is probably good, my daughter has one about that size that she loves.

I have a couple of car seat blankets 19x23 that I use when it's too warm for her bunting but she needs something. Of the smaller options I have made a lovey with a bunny head that is super cute.

If you think you might actually use it I’d go for the crib size.

A friend of mine is going to be crocheting a baby blanket, or some thing of the sorts, for me. I looked up the standard sizing chart for crocheted baby blankets, but still can't decide what the "best", if there is one, size. Any suggestions? (I have no idea what i will actually end up using it for, just thought it was super cute)
I'm looking at....
30x36 inch stroller blanket or
23x46 or 36x54 inch crib blanket

And another either
12x12 lovey or
16x16 security

Thanks!
