I used the milk matr storage bottles and dr. browns bottles. I liked the storage bottles because it seemed wasteful to go through all those bags and they were compatible with the pump.

The dr brown bottles seemed good because they are supposed to reduce the air lo drinks in. I dont think my lo was super picky though.

@tillma: I prefer the honeysuckle bags because they are much thicker than Lansinoh. I pump into Medela bottles and transfer to Como Tomo bottles for feeding.

i have a medela freestyle pump. lansinoh bags for freezing and nursing pads. medela storage system, and simple wishes hands free pumping bra! bottles were tough for us because LO went through a bottle strike from months 2-4. we tried tommee tippee, mam, first years breastflow...she was the least offended by lansinoh mOmma bottles and now she only drinks from them.

If I could go back I would have gotten medela bottle nipples (either the calma or the regular one) because I have a medela pump and being able to use the nipples with them would eliminate having to buy other bottles!I like lansinoh bags for freezing.

I use the Lanisoh bags for freezing, the bottles that came with my Ameda for pumping, and the only bottles she likes are the Avent and Playtex vent ones. I'm really glad I bought several types of bottles to see what kinds she tolerates. I haven't bought a pumping bra yet, but I'll need to when I go back to work...I can't type and hold those suckers on!

Oh yes. I totally agree with @Mrs Green Grass. You need a pumping bra and more than one drying rack! We have three !

For freezing: lansinoh or honeysuckle

For eating: dr brown's worked for us...you might want to just get a single or double of one kind and see what works

For pumping: lots of Medela bottles and parts and a pumping bra

I use the first years drying rack and really like it. Two would be even better.

What pump are you getting ? I really love the evenflo milk storage bottles. They are inexpensive ! I pump into these then we transfer into tommy tippee bottles for LO to drink. They are about 5.00 for a 4 pack at BRU and fit my purely yours. They would fit a medela pump, too

I store bottles like this for up to 2 days in the fridge. Any leftover gets frozen (I love the target brand bags) and I just use painters tape to label with the date

We haven't had any luck bottle feeding yet, but so far she tolerates the tommy tippee bottles the best. I use medela bags for freezing and like those!!

If I were registering again I would just do the bags, and one or two single bottles, different types.

I like Lansinoh bags. And Dr Brown's bottles worked well for us. They're kind of a pain with all the parts though.
So for baby 2 I used Tommee Tippee.

We are working on our registry and I am finding the amount of bottle/ breast milk storage systems out there overwhelming and need help! I am planning on pumping once I go back to work and need a storage system that will work well for that along with, obviously, bottles for feeding time. I know not every baby likes every kind and not all bottles are created alike....what has worked for you guys? I am fine with trying a few different bottle types but would like some good recommendations. Would love to hear why you thought a particular choice was superior as well if you dont mind!
