Yeah they're at Target too.
Also maybe read a bit about paced feedings and try holding LO up a bit so the bottle is horizontal?

@Willow: and keep in mind they have adapters for most pumps for other brands. I tried Avent too, way too fast even on the slowest size. We ended up with Lanisoh (recommended by my lactation consultant as being great for BF babies, LO loves them. They are inexpensive. just make sure you push the nipple down into the ring, don't pull it through like most bottles) and munchkin latch (more parts, but she loves the nipples on these also).

Thanks! I'll give the first flow ones a try. I'd ideally like to stick with Avent since my pump is also that brand and I can just connect it right to the bottle. But if it doesn't work, sounds like Dr. Browns will be the next kind I try.

We just tried avent but level 1 was way too fast. Ds is bottle fed and it was way too fast. And the venting is not nearly as good as Dr. Browns. It sucks to store all the parts when exclusively bottle feeding but he is a much happier baby with Dr. Browns. We are currently trying out Playtex drop ins, which dd used at about 4 months after Dr. Browns. I think we will probably stick with Dr Browns for at least a month or two longer though.

We had to switch to Dr Browns bc the Avent ones we had ready were too fast.

LO is 6 weeks and EBF, but I've been starting to pump to try and introduce a bottle (we have a movie date planned two weeks from now, so she needs to be able to take one by then). We have the Phillips Avent natural bottles, and they came with a "1" nipple. Is there a slower flow nipple than 1, or is that the slowest? She seems to forget to breathe while taking the bottle, so then will suddenly come unlatched and milk goes everywhere.
