I’d probably start with putting one of the sofas under the window and using the skinny side table as the foyer cabinet. I’d move the foyer cabinet over to the wall by the fridge. This may allow you to put the swing in the corner where the back wall sofa and kitchen meet. The bassinet could just go next to you coffee table in the middle of the floor.

I don't like how my living room is arranged. The bin shelves is where we keep toys and where it is now is fine, but the baby swing, baby doll toys, anywhere chair, IV pole and RNP against the windows drives me crazy. I want to be able to reach the drapes to open them.

My idea is to put the toy shelves against the loveseat, and the anywhere chair and babydoll toys next to the TV but OH is worried that DD will have toys all over the kitchen.

Any other ideas? I am open to buying new storage furniture too. Don't mind the mess/lack of decoration- we moved in five weeks ago and DS just came home four weeks ago.
