Since then it's been weekly and each time has been worse and worse. I think the lack of bond is partially due to her not engaging with him much during visits also. I think it's horrible that kids stay in care so long. It is no way to grow up. Also, do you have any sort of relationship with birth mom, so that you can see how T is doing and/or be a support system for them?<br /> My friends have been fostering a sibling set for 3 years (!) now, and their girl went back to bio dad for 6 months in that timeframe, and they worked with him to support him, but ultimately she went back to live with my friends bc bio dad couldn't meet CPS requirements.
