I think first names that end in a vowel lend themselves to that first into middle flow. Any of your options ending in A could go well with Joanna/Josephine, which you would most likely shorten to Jo, right?

And if he doesn’t like Josephine and both names ending in A is too sing-songy, maybe Jolene instead for a middle?

We have an Alice Merryn. It took a long time to decide which name would be first or middle but in the end we thought this flowed better with our last (McL-----).

I also like Maren Lillith as above, and would avoid the double-rhyming combinations since a lot of your name favorites end in -a.

Some more names that kind of go with your choices that were on our own list this last time around are: Lydia or Lydian, Lienne (Lee-en), and Linden.

I love Maren, but I would spell it Maryn. This is the name I would use if I were having another (after my mom Mary), but I think that spelling would fit together with Anya perfectly. And then I'd do Maryn Lillith.

What about swapping the middle and first? Joanna Maeve sounds nice.

First time around we waited until birth for the gender and the name seemed to come easier! Another girl on the way and we cant seem to commit! Anya Beatrice is our first and goes by Anya Bea or Bea. Would like a similar feel with first into middle name if you get my drift.

I like: Maren, Vada, Gemma
He likes: Lillith, Liara
Both kinda like/agree: Mara, Maeve, Amara

I'm liking either Joanna or Josephine for middle name though DH isn't a fan of Josephine :silly: But middle is negotiable. I like familiar, not trendy or popular names.

Help us Bees!! Any suggestions??
