Sounds like a great gift.

I'd check out the dollar store for a bucket for it all.

Thanks everyone!

Since I'm procrastinating on doing my actual work today I just spent an hour on Amazon pricing out the first aid kit idea and the bath idea. I ended up buying almost everything I need for a bathtime bucket (Thanks @Cole for the bucket rather than bathtub idea!). I ended up getting:
-two hooded towels
-washcloths that she registered for
-the bathtub spout cover and elbow pad that she registered for
-the cups that @Mrs. Pickle suggested and,
-Bathtime for twins (thanks @twodoghouse!)
Now all I need to do is find a cute bucket to throw it all into and I'm ready! I did go a little over budget, but wanted to include the items that she actually registered for. And it was much cheaper than the first aid items that I had looked at on amazon.

Easiest present I've ever purchased. Thanks guys!!

I love doing a first aid basket. I usually include: nose frida nasal aspirator, baby saline spray, boogie wipes, aquaphor, some burp cloths, some baby lotion, maybe pacifiers if the mom to be has registered for a brand, some onesies (because who can resist tiny baby clothes?), some Earth Mama Angel Baby nipple cream, and a book. If you're looking for twin books, we like Bathtime for Twins, Playtime for Twins, and Fraturtles.

I received a first aid basket at my shower and it was so nice not to have to run to the pharmacy the first time DD got sick. @Cole's suggestions are spot on for that.

If you go with a bathtub basket I like these cups for rinsing hair. DD likes to play with them too.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0041RRX6M/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmr0_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1483382488&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=skip+hop+bird+stacking+cups

Another useful basket idea is feeding for when they start solids. In my experience moms to be don't get a lot of gear for that since it happens once the babies get older. You could get some bowls, spoons, straw or sippy cups, bibs.

I feel like you could do a bath time basket or a first aid basket for within your budget and have a really nice gift. Unless she registered for one within your price point I'd skip the bath tub and just get a bucket that could work too store bath toys and fill that. You could do body wash, cream, sponges, baby washcloths, bath toys, bubbles, little baby towels (feel free to skip these though, they mostly suck in my opinion)- Ikea has little bath towel ponchos for cheap and they are awesome. Add a big cup for hair rinsing and maybe one of those knee pad things too.

For first aid you'd want to add liquid infant's Tylenol and ibuprofen but check to make sure the expiration date is pretty far in the future since they can't have ibuprofen until 6 months. Gas drops, gripe water, teething tablets, extra syringes, a thermometer, saline, nose frida and boogie wipes (I LOVE these). I have a little travel case we keep all of this stuff in and it's so nice to have it all handy when she's sick and I just take the whole case when we travel.

Hey Bees!

I've been to a few baby showers, but this will be my first time buying for a mom who is having twins. I usually like to do gift-basket type stuff (ie: a "diaper basket" with everything she needs, or a bedtime basket with a nice stroller blanket, onsie, books, and pacifiers, etc) but I'm having some trouble thinking of ideas for twins that are still within my budget. Ideally I'd like to spend a max of $75.

A new dad at work suggested a "first aid" basket which would include things like gripe water and baby Tylenol. But I don't have kids so I'm not too sure what else I'd put in there.

I was also thinking a bathtime basket (because I assume that will be hard with twins) but all I can think of is some hooded towels and washcloths and baby soap because the actual baby baths are expensive!

Any ideas or help would be great!! Also, I'm in Canada, so I feel like that increases costs a bit.
