I think they did this for a month or two and it kind of went away. DS has one too. It just popped up one day around 8 w. Although, it's not as big and seems to be shrinking. He's 15w right now. It doesn't bother him at all. I talked to my ped about it too and she said that there's really nothing they can do about them unless it hasn't healed by the time they're 5 or something.
