I would go for easy and lower cal to keep him slim--canned dog food mixed with kibble, peanut butter mixed with kibble and veggies (carrots/green beans), yogurt and chicken....you can plug the top hole with a dog cookie and the bottom with some kind of jerky to keep things from leaking out before freezing. If you keep two or more, you can always have one ready and they can be put in the dishwasher. Naughty dog antics can be amusing. Our girl puppy has tried humping since we've had her. I remember being so surprised with my last girl pup when she humped--I thought it was just a boy thing! Is he easy to redirect? They really are just trying things out....sounds like a bone or a frozen Kong could be good for him! For 1.....he's started humping....oh it's just wonderful.....NOT! He only humps me to, not DH. I think we are waiting until he's 10-11 months old to get him fixed though per the vet's reccomendation. He's also started peeing in the house again if we're not giving him our full attention.
