Our loss was actually the result of a pregnancy via IVF (my first loss was spontaneously conceived...it's a long story)...and they will be having me undergo another SHG (rather than an HSG), probably once my other testing comes back, before we attempt a frozen transfer in 3 months or so. I'm so nervous we're going to get a bill for the whole thing. I hope you get an answer from your insurance soon so you can get everything done at once. Although, my RPL draw was 19 vials and I was dizzy afterward, so maybe it would help to break it up. Will you be getting an HSG?</p> <p>Chromosome testing came back normal. I'm a little anemic and my thyroid levels are a tiny bit elevated for someone trying to conceive so they increased my synthroid. I had a follow up with my RE last week and she said she was considering a hysterosonogram but then decided to schedule a hysteroscopy because she suspects fibroids. </p> <p>Good luck with your testing! I just found out today that my RE wants a documented "0" HCG level before I can have my RPL labs drawn. It was 33 yesterday, so next week...but then I'm wondering whether I should wait for my insurance to decide whether or not they'll pay for genetic testing...and then have everything drawn at the same time. Have your chromosomes come back yet? Instead of an HSG, might they do a saline hysterosonogram? So far everything has come back fine but we're waiting for our chromosome testing to come back. Our insurance wouldn't cover an HSG so for now we're going to skip it, which I'm a little nervous about. My RE said if everything comes back normal we have the green light to try this month with progesterone supplements and early ultrasounds. I'm here if you ever have any questions of just need to vent!
