I keep the food tray and lid in a drawer and don't use them. With the tray attached, the chair wouldn't slide under our table either. I just keep the tray detached and sit it in the chair so it's in the booster seat leaning up against the table. I know...not ideal but figure have to take the tray out to put LO in it anyways. Also I have disassembled and put the entire thing in the dishwasher. It is seriously the best high chair out there. No fabric parts that can get yucky, it is super easy to clean or stow away and its easy to travel with. We are still waiting for the roofers to totally finish the gutters from when the tree fell on the house. Then we have another leak in the ceiling. But we are hoping that will be covered under the home warranty. I am just glad that I happened to go in the basement yesterday and saw the small leak. I got it out this weekend and I don't think that I like it with the chair and table. It won't fit under the table, so the chair will have to stick out really far. I really want to get it at BBB since we have gift cards and then once I return the other one, it should cover most of the cost. After $800 on a new water heater yesterday, we don't have much to spend. </p>
