We had the Safety 1st Recline and Grow booster seat. We didn't want a huge chair to clean or be taking up space and the price was reasonable (was around $40 or something). It looks like it's been replaced with the newer Safety 1st Sit Snack n' Go booster seat (which doesn't look as good for the younger set as the one we had was).

We have the FP one too and like it. Like @MerryC we put a towel down on the chair so that it stays clean; just throw the towel in the wash when it gets dirty enough to warrant washing. The tray goes straight into the dishwasher and the chair part is easy to wipe down and keep clean. Its also so light and easy to travel with, we don't bother taking it to restaurants, but we take it to my parent's house when we go for dinner.

@regberadaisy: blue layer is just a tray. White has a little place for a cup. Green is a cap/cover? Maybe for travel or to keep the mess in if you eat out and won't clean the tray til you get home.

We have the fisher price deluxe booster for both kids. We put a towel down on the chair so it doesn't get messed up. The trays are dishwasher safe and fit on top or bottom racks, makes cleanup so easy. The rest of the seat is easy to wipe down too. And it's so cheap that buying two was no problem :) and again so cheap that my mom could buy a set for her house no problem so they have the consistency when we're away from home.

We have a pub height table, so it's too high for a regular high chair. We use a booster on a regular table chair and it's been perfect. I wanted the fisher price one, but my local Target carried this one, so that's what we ended up with. It's been fine, though it feels cheaper than the FP.

We actually have both a standalone and one that attaches. I generally much prefer the one that attaches to the chair (I think we have a Fisher Price one too), as do many of our friends, and I like it better for family meal times, and for going out- we don't take it to restaurants, but if we go to my FIL's house, or another friend's house, it's great.
These days, I mainly like the standalone because we have people over for dinner a fair bit and it doesn't take up an extra chair that should be used by an adult!

We have the fisher price booster. I love it. We had a regular handme down high chair and I hated it. It took up so much room. The booster makes our house feel less baby like, and will last a long time.

We also have a fisher price. It's inexpensive and gets the job done without taking too much room. Our dining room table is the round tall kind so the heights match.

Currently we use a Bebepod which attaches to the bottom and back of a chair. We plan to get a FP Healthy Care soon as well.

We didn't want a huge high chair taking up space!

We have the First Years space saver and love it. Both of my kids used it into toddlerhood!

Eta: We have the reclining one, not the regular model.
