She is now 21 months and loves it. They are great to keep in the car or bring in the diaper bag. She reads them over and over in the car. They're great for traveling because we can take 5 of those at a fraction of the weight/space of other books and I don't care if they don't survive the trip. They're like a laminated paper, so he could "read" them and I didn't have to worry about him tearing them apart. They were good for holding his attention because the stories are super short, so the topics would change often. There are also tip boxes for the parents about how to get more out of the little stories. It was a nice thought but we never really did anything with them. DS showed no interest. She changed the subscription this year to the regular one but I think he's too young for them. They are quarter-sized and, what, less than 10 pages? Both my mom and my MIL ended up giving E a subscription without realizing it. He likes them, but books = toys for him, so he gets a lot of mileage out of them.
