My LO loves dogs like crazy too. I've always wanted to start a similar conversation: Roses, Buds and Thorns. Rose-something good, Thorn-something difficult, Bud- something that has potential...the start of something to become awesome!<br /> My high is that I went on a surprise beach and reading date with DH this morning. He hasn't been able to recognize who I am lately... but I put on a Yankees cap and asked him if he knew what it was, and he said, "Yankees!" We both got into the Yankees over the last 10 years or so, and it made me happy that he could remember at least a part of that.</p> <p>LOW: There was a snafu at work and one of my worst fears came true. I was able to fix it pretty quickly and there was no lasting damage, but I got really upset over it. We recently started, and it's so fascinating to hear the kids' take on their highs and lows!</p> <p>Their highs are sometimes the smallest things in the world... like my daughter said the other day that her high was petting her friend's dog. Now when she's petting a dog, I let her take her time... since it's the best part of her day and all!</p> <p>Do you do Highs and Lows? And while we're at it - what were your highs and lows today? </p>
