I started getting hip pain around 10-12 weeks, too, with our first. I was born with displaced hips and yet never had any noticeable issues until pregnant. I did try a pillow between my legs and it helped, but like you, I was still a little uncomfortable.

Strangely enough, I found that making sure I walked a bit during the day (around the block, etc.) helped reduce a bit of the pain. Maybe it was because I sat in an office all day and needed to do some stretching after work. I eventually bought an exercise ball and used it as a chair for half the day at that helped, too.

I hope that helps.

@Rosie Girl: Thank you. I slept with a pillow between my legs last night and even though they were still achy I did get better sleep than the night before.

I remember starting to get pains that early! Try the pillow between the legs and really focus on posture during the day. Good luck!

I did. It has come and gone since then, and I found that sleeping with a pillow between my legs helps relieve the pain. I didn't get it with DS until the 3rd trimester, but it happened fast this time.

I'm having quite terrible hip pain. It started last night and made sleeping almost unbearable. I was tossing and turning all night. Even sitting on the couch is making my hips ache. Is/has anyone else had this going on so early?
