We're doing a "Top 10 of 2015" theme in our cards and I had hoped to make a pregnancy announcement the No. 1.</p> <p>We have one LO, and we've been TTC for a year for a second baby. I've had two miscarriages, one at six weeks and one at nine weeks.</p> <p>I've been hoping that we could get pregnant this fall and then announce the pregnancy in our holiday cards. But if we get pregnant this cycle (I know that's a big "if"), I'd only be five or six weeks pregnant when I ordered the cards, and probably around seven weeks when we mailed them.</p> <p>My DH thinks it's not a good idea, since it would be a particularly memorable and painful let down if I miscarried again. He thinks we shouldn't tell anyone until 12 weeks, after the holidays. He might be right. What do you think?</p> <p>If it matters, we only send holiday cards to close family and friends (around 15 households). </p>
