There is something so magical about winter shoots IF there is snow. But M will not be walking yet so I think we'll lose some of that with us just holding her all bundled up. So it will likely be indoors.</p> <p>Even the spring ones though around here Spring doesn't really arrive till late May and late April (she was born 4/28) can still be chilly! So outdoors will kinda be out because everything is gross, wet &amp; barren around then. I think if I had to choose, I'd pick the 1 year photos over the holiday photos (she was 6 months, then). We did the cake smash photos. Her birthday was on a Saturday and we went to the mall the week before her birthday. I'm notorious for not having a list.</p> <p>I thought about asking for cash to go towards a family session with M. I never did a maternity or newborn session and I kinda really regret it. So I would love to do a family session either for the holidays or a family/1 year/cake smash session for M.</p> <p>If you did a 1 year session when did you do it? Before LO's birthday? After? Day of? Her birthday is on a Sunday so we'll be having her party on her actual birthday so day of is out.</p> <p>Also what do you think would be better? Holiday photos or 1 year? I live up north so the idea of a "winter wonderland" shoot is enticing! She'll be about 8 months around the holidays.</p> <p>Thanks! </p>
