I thrift and consign throughout the year for this. She gets a pair of Christmas pjs Christmas eve which she then wears through winter. DD wears them until they don't fit anymore. I usually buy a few sets of Christmas/winter pjs - one or two on sale or from consignment - and let them wear those through the whole month of December. But they also get a special set that they can't wear until Christmas Eve and then all day Christmas Day. Then they wear them until it's too warm to wear them and/or they outgrow them. I gave them to her on Thanksgiving and I only took them away when it got too hot to wear them (probably May). She loves them and would have worn them all summer if I had let her. I would love to get some cute Halloween pajamas this year, which I would probably let them wear whenever they want ;) With regular day clothes I would do a few weeks before and stop the day after the holiday. </p>
