That happened to me after a weekend away of eating not such healthy food and flying, around 30 weeks. It was so gross and uncomfortable. Luckily for me, it didn't actually stick around-- I kept my feet up, drank a TON of water and coconut water, went for a brisk walk, and within a couple of days I could at least see my ankles. 39 weeks 4 days right now and I only have a little swelling. So it could go away.

Also is it really hot? The heat made it way worse. Now my hands get really swollen when I walk for a while (no rings for many weeks already) but my feet are OK.

@babyjmama: @Mrs Hedgehog: I had the same experience, except it started at 24 weeks. I went in, got evaluated for pre-e... nope, just really effing swollen.

It's MISERABLE. I'm sorry mama. :) I hope you can get some relief.

@Mrs Hedgehog: This happened to me about 2-3 weeks ago as well. I put my wedding ring on for our anniversary and all was good. The next morning I woke up and my legs/feet were massive and painful. I thought, no big deal... guess it's a flip flop day. But I couldn't even fit in my own flip flops. I had to wear a pair of DH's that would usually be 4 sizes too big.
And unfortunately... it's been swollen to VERY swollen ever since. And when I'm not as swollen, the tops of my feet and my forearms feel like they're bruised.

Over the course of this pregnancy I considered myself super lucky that I want really swelling. My hands would swell some when I got hot but all that meant was no ring wearing. I can live with that.

It of nowhere, with one month left until her EDD I have turned into the Stay Puffed Pregnant Lady! My entire body has swollen up! cankles, feet that suddenly don't fit in the shoes that were slightly to big last week and not a single bra that fits. Tell me it is normal to suddenly swell like this and that I am not going to be having to live like this for the next 30 our so days!
