I mean yeah an hour here or there. But they left yesterday at 9am and aren't coming back till today around 3pm. Yesterday I was sure I would spend the day in bed binge watching something. But in reality I cleaned for a couple of hours and then took a nice shower. Then I ran errands, got my legs waxed and had a nice lunch out. THEN I came home and watched tv and took a nap.<br /> My out of town friends arrived around 5pm and we just hung out and then went to dinner, all without stressing about LOs bedtime or feeling rushed to get back. It was so nice!<br /> I just slept in till now and will get breakfast. And my friends will go sightsee while I hopefully have more tv time till DH and LO return. </p> <p>It wasn't exciting but much needed! It's great to recharge every once in a while. How do you feel about alone movies? Otherwise maybe call a girlfriend and go out or a cocktail or coffee/tea and a chat? My best friend lives far away so when I've got down time (after my son is in bed) I usually FaceTime with her and a glass of wine. And now I'm chillin' on the couch watching movies. </p> <p>I feel like I should have done something more exciting. Does anyone else ever get alone time? What do you do? </p>
