Oftentimes you'll know it's yeast because it's bright red, has sharp borders, and isn't responding to normal creams/treatments for 3 days or more. Yeast infections are something I would medicate and not rely solely on home remedies to treat. You'll want to get an OTV anti-fungal like Lotrimin and apply it to the area 3 times per day (apply until is is resolved or it will likely come back). Leaving her open to air as often as possible will also help a TON. She was on augmentin for an ear infection for ten days and came home with a horrible yeast rash yesterday. I called the ped but they didn't call anything in. She's not uncomfortable, it's just super red and irritated and butt paste/triple paste is doing nothing. </p> <p>What are some home remedies for yeast rash? I'm doing coconut oil, but is there anything else I can do? </p>
