You'd think WF wouldn't have added salt in their frozen peas. The bag of green beans where fine, but those stupid peas had salt!

I use frozen veggies, but I've never seen any that have other ingredients. That's so weird...

Only fresh here as well. If purées are only good frozen up to 3 months I def won't use frozen veggies in top of that?

I only used fresh vegetables, so no hidden salt.

Oh wow, I never knew that. I just checked a bag of organic peas we have and it doesn't contain salt so there are brands out there that do not contain salt.

Glad you found a solution! Turns out my son didn't like carrots, so I used the puree to make carrot soup! Better than trashing it.

This happened to my friend last year. She made all her own purées and didn't realize that a lot of the frozen veggies she was buying, though organic, were salted. She stopped using them, as well.

I made my first batch of homemade baby food of peas. We didn't have any fresh peas this morning. I just used some organic peas from Whole Foods I recently bought, I assumed there wasn't any salt, but just realized after making and freezing a batch the bag lists salt.

Should I get rid of it all? What to do? On the bag, it says 200 mg of sodium (8% of daily diet). I did thin it out with water left from steaming them. All the baby food websites scream NO SALT!!! Will I be harming my LO with this?

Update: decided not to risk it and am now having pea soup for lunch today!
