I make it around this time too - it's funny, it's like I forget about it until November and then remember it exists and get all excited. My version is pretty standard, Chex, Shreddies, Cheerios, pretzels, and mixed nuts. My Nana always used to put Bugles in hers so sometimes I do that.

We do and call it Texas Trash. Wheat-, rice-, and corn-Chex, Cheerios, Kix, pretzels and nuts. Seasoning is bacon grease, butter, Tony Chacherie's (sp?), celery salt, garlic powder, tabasco and Worcestershire sauce. Yumm...it's one of my favorite holiday treats.

Around this time of year I love to make homemade Chex mix. I was brought up eating it around the holiday's so now I make it for the girls. I'm curious if others make it and what you put in it?

I do Chex cereal, pretzels, goldfish, cheerios and sometimes bagel chips and peanuts.
