In childbirth, I know that my mom brought arnica montana and gave me some after delivery. I haven't met with a homeopath, but want to soon. I didn't have a special kit, but I do have a flu kit that I use when I need it. I am a firm believer in the use of homeopathics. Like anyone I was REALLY skeptical of their effectiveness but they are truly amazing.</p> <p>For example: after I got married I was getting UTI's pretty consistently. After a year I tried seeking reprieve but didn't want more meds. My mom recommended her homeopathic consultant who did a consult with me and prescribed, based on my symptoms, a remedy. The remedy is then two pellets dissolved into 1/2 cup of water and you take two teaspoons every two hours until it's better. I only had to take my remedy for a day before I saw improvement; and I have NEVER had a UTI since! I was amazed.</p> <p>It's done the same for colds, sore throats, thrust, you name it</p> <p>I plan to use her when my son gets sick because I am not a fan of conventional meds and antibiotics for children. My mom and 7 yr old sister use her religiously, as does my older sister and her son. In fact her son just had the croup and in one day it was gone through a remedy.</p> <p>I love how I never have to worry about medicinal side effects. I love that I won't have to worry about giving meds to my son. I have used homeopathic with him already- like with our thrush, and it cleared it away in a day.</p> <p>I really recommend looking into it some more and seeing if you can find a homeopathic consultant in your area. I'd like to learn more about them since I basically know nothing about it. </p>
