@anbanan15: It IS really nice and generous of him! He loves couponing though (like "Extreme Couponing" style!) and did it for both my SIL's kids too. I DO like the Honest diapers though! I'd probably subscribe for them if we had to pay for them 100% ourselves.

I don't do diapers but I do the Essentials Bundle (and I changed it to every 1.5 months delivery). It is a decent deal, and how good of a deal it is depends on which items I ordered that time. If I order 5 rinse aids in my bundle that month, it is not a very good deal, but if I were to order say 5 detergents, then that would be an excellent deal, so I figure it all evens out.

I wish I could bundle *just* The diapers. I buy wipes from Sam's Club and they're $15 for a HUMONGOUS box. But since i CD at home, i go through a box of diapers much more slowly.....

@sorrycharlie: Great tip! I'm EST too. I might wait and see what I think after I get my Zulily order. I don't know if I *need* the trail then. We also have some shampoo and body wash that came in our Citrus Lane that we haven't used yet. Might be enough to try them out without actually getting the official trial :)

@shopaholic: That is so nice of your FIL to stock you up on diapers! We mainly clothed with DS but have been using regular sposies (mostly Target brand) the last few months due to an issue he was having and we completely forgot how pricey diapers are! We can't wait to go back to cloth to be honest (DH was not always a fan of CD's and this is his #1 request with this baby). I'm glad to hear you like the Honest diapers though! Can't wait to try them out.

@anbanan15: sometimes the wait time is long..depends on the time of day (I'm EST, and they are in PST) so I found that may have something to do with it. I tried calling once and had to wait for a while and ended up hanging up because LO was throwing a fit, but the second time got right through.

@sorrycharlie: Thanks! Exactly what I wanted to know. I hear too often that companies put up a fight when you cancel after a trial, but I have been wanting to try them.

@anbanan15: you can only cancel by calling, but they aren't obnoxious about it. they offered me the discount and I ordered a bundle - but if I had declined, they were super super nice!

I'm interested to hear what others have to say.

I was thinking about trying them for the NB phase before we start using our CD's. I just ordered a pack off Zulily, but am wondering if I should sign up for the trial offer? And possibly 1 month of diapers but I am not sure it would be worth it since we would be switching to cloth and cloth wipes before the month is up.

Is it hard to cancel after the trial?

I did the math and for us, for size 3, it was definitely more than the pampers swaddlers & pampers or huggies wipes.

I called to cancel and they offered me a 15% discount. Even with that discount, it was still $10-15 more than I'd spend on comparable diapers. I chalked the difference up to gas and convenience for delivery, but we've since had a change in income and I'm so depressed I have to cancel :(

They are seriously my fav diapers! We switched back to Pampers (and have been trying Target) and neither compares, at least for us :(

For those of you who subscribe to Honest Co. monthly diapers and wipes and/or do the 5 bundle options, do you find it to be about the same price or more/less than buying regular diapers (say on sale?) Also, do you find the monthly (6 diaper packs + 4 wipes) enough to get you through the month?

We're fortunate enough that my couponing FIL buys 90% of our diapers but I'm wondering if the monthly $80 for Honest Co. would end up being about the same as he spends? The diapers have really grown on me (bought a few packs individually) and the wipes are my faves (but at $5/pk individually I think it's a lot).
