Well, I don't give a damn. 12 years olds are clearly not immune to the susceptibilities that any other person is. Influence is influence, and these girls were influenced by killers. That's just so terrible. I feel so bad for their parents, because I am sure they never thought that their allowing the girl to use the internet would result in her trying to kill someone. There is something very, very, very wrong with these girls. I remember watching horror films at sleepovers when I was 12 or 13. I also read lots of scary books - even books geared towards a younger audience like Goosebumps or "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark", or the more mature ones by Christopher Pike or RL Stine were pretty terrifying! We weren't really allowed to but we did anyway. They used to give me horrible nightmares, but I never once had a desire to stab one of my classmates 19 times.
