At my hospital, we can have all our personal items in the labor and delivery room, then pack them up and take it upstairs to the family suites. They said lots of people bring laptops and other devices - so I have that on my list. I am SO glad I had it packed because I thought that when I went to the hospital I'd have time to shower, put on make-up, add things to my bag, etc but that wasn't the case for me! I went to Target the other day and picked up a bunch of travel-sized toiletries.</p> <p>Question about the bag-- so I'm guessing you'll have a labor bag (stuff you'll want during labor... maybe a magazine or an iPod or honey sticks) and then you have other stuff for post-delivery (comfy clothes, toiletries). Do you bring both bags into the hospital? Do they let you keep your personal stuff in the delivery room?
