When I got home and had the pillow I was like "wow, this is so much easier!!!" Plus my guy had jaundice which made him sleepy, so I had to keep 'waking him up' while feeding (cold wet washcloth) and I felt like I needed a third arm to accomplish that. I was shocked about the pacifier thing but DH ran home to get them on day 2 so it wasn't a big deal. We also brought in some of our own hats, but they weren't necessarily needed. I never wore the undies I brought from home since they supplied the nice mesh ones. haha. But they were comfy and worked. I ended up going home with 3 packages of pads, which I am still using now. Otherwise that covers most of what I had packed except I also included yoga pants and t-shirts and this is what I wore after day one. I felt much better being in real clothes. I never used my nightgown or robe and my hospital supplied maxi pads. I also packed a pair of earrings to wear post c-section.
