My favorite pic ever is me holding her at some point that day, not showered or washed, just holding my sleepy baby. I don't even have regrets about it because I just had s many other things on my mind there (hello, nursing twins?!??). But I do marvel at people who look put together (or even, um, clean) in their hospital pics. I really only have a few pictures of right after birth and right when we were going home. There was a photographer that comes by and takes "newborn" pictures of the babies and parents (like, 8-10 pictures), so we have some of those. Honestly, I think that's all you need. (I had used it when my husband and I were dating/engaged/married and wanted to add to our timeline a little I suppose.)</p> <p>So, now that I have it again and see photos on friends' feeds, I am suddenly jealous/remorseful we didn't take better photos during our time in the hospital. Granted, I looked pretty awful after she was born (I cringe a bit at the candid photos we do have :P) I just know I would've been been more on top of good pictures if I had anticipated sharing some publicly.</p> <p>Anyone else wish they had better pictures? We have a few from the next day which I like and am thankful for at least :) </p>
