@Sams Mom: Yes, no problems nursing! And so much easier than the million snaps at the shoulders on the hospital gown.

I used this one after labor through my hospital stay, and often for the first year postpartum bc of the easy straps for nursing: https://latchedmama.com/products/latched-mama-labor-dress-2-0

Super comfortable and easy to use for late night feedings if you’re nursing.

Because of all the stuff going on in my nether regions in the hospital, I preferred loose PJ pants to help hold stuff together.

I lived in them, Target maternity tanks, and a big loose cardigan. I still wear the tanks because I love the length on them.

@hony bologna: thanks! I have come across that one yet. Based on the neckline, I'm assuming it's easy to nurse in even though it's not a nursing top?

There are TONS on Amazon. Just search “nursing labor gown.” I felt like wearing regular clothes made such a huge difference.

I had a C-section a couple weeks ago and ordered two of these in advance:

Lusofie Nightdress Women Long Nightgown V Neck Nightie Pleated Loungewear Soft Sleep Shirt(9332 Purple, Small)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X3G8PSW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Jt8sEbN2EJ0N4

Super soft and comfy, easy to nurse in. I’m 5’7” and the small hit several inches below my knee. I also got a few pairs of thick knee-high socks to go with them, but I ended up not wearing those since they keep the postpartum rooms so warm.

Nothing like waiting until the last minute, but I'm looking for comfy good quality dresses/nightgowns (knee length @ 6' tall) i can order so I'm not in those stinking hospital gowns forever. I'll take pajamas recommendations too if they're c section friendly.

Bonus points if they're prime eligible 😬
