I suppose I would have cared more if she was teeny tiny but by five months (age on our first trip) she didn't seem so so delicate. The only time we ever had a problem with the hotel crib was in Thailand. It was a giant wooden drop sided crib that I'm sure was at least 40 years old. I would rather not bring the PnP &amp; LO is used to sleeping in a crib anyway. We'd bring a mattress pad &amp; sheets &amp; wipe it down of course... But it still gives me the heebie jeebies for some reason! I don't know why since she's slept in a hotel bed with me before.</p> <p>I also wonder if they are safe in addition to the cleanliness factor? </p>
