I agree with the idea of checking Pinterest. Flylady has some interesting techniques too so maybe check her out. If you think a combo of online and an app would work for you try Cozi, they let you keep a calendar, meal plan, recipe box, multiple shopping and to do lists and a few other things all in one place. I keep it open in a tab on my browser and check in with it a few times a day. My husband has access to it too so if he runs to the store without me he can see what we need.

There are a ton of printables available for free.

I did a bunch of research this time last year, but never ended up putting together a binder. I couldn't really figure out how I would use it and it seemed like it would be more work to maintain it than I was willing to spend on it.

I also tried this last year. LOL.
I'm still trying to figure out what will work for me.

@cmomma17: Search for household management binders on Pinterest and you will come up with a TON of links to blogs that talk about them, including lots of free printables.
Personally, I like the idea of having everything laid out and clear-cut in a binder and I've worked on setting mine up, but then the initial excitement wears off and I fall off the bandwagon very quickly. Maybe one if these years I'll be on top of things and manage to stick with my home management binder. :P

@Mrs. Jump Rope: sort of like that! But I also mean more along the lines of a cleaning schedule, maybe a place to keep my budget/list of bill due dates, meal planning, etc.

I get so scatterbrained that I can't prioritize sometimes. So I'd like one place to turn to, to see what I need to do!

@cmomma17: What do you mean by household planner?

I have a huge binder filled with everything from our house -- receipts, bills, warranty plans, etc. It's broken down by section so that way if something comes up, I know who to call to fix what, and already have my "is this covered by warranty?" answered. Our maintenance schedule is in there, too, for things like having the furnace checked out.

Does anyone (WOHM, or SAHM) use an kind of household planner or binder?
I want to be more organized in 2014 and stay more on top of cleaning our apartment (popular topic on the boards today!).
I struggle with making too many lists and having too many notebooks, etc. going at once. I'd love to streamline.

Bonus points if it's something online that I can print!
