But when we moved into the house we own now, I avoided it because I felt so weird saying "come to our housewarming party" because I feel like people feel obligated to bring gifts. We moved when I was in the middle of my first trimester and miserable. We got married recently and had an engagement party and shower, and I had my baby shower, so we felt like it would be too much for people to have to come and give a gift.</p> <p>Plus we moved when I was 8 1/2 months pregnant. By the time the house was done lo was a newborn and we were tired!
