They are definitely there seven days a week, and transfer day is up to the doctor's discretion. Depending on the quantity of of embryos, they will schedule you for a day three transfer and then reevaluate that morning. They were happy with the growth of mine, and we were then pushed to day five. Dr. McKnight was my doctor, but I also saw Dr. Nodler and McKenzie for occasional appointments. Heads up, this was Dr. McKenzie's last week with the practice though. </p> <p>My ob/gyn recommended Houston IVF, and I later found out that two of my co-workers had their children through IVF there as well. You're right in terms of "severe" (was trying to explain to someone less familiar with the whole fertility process that we weren't at the IUI or IVF stage - those weren't even an option when we started our journey). We've done PICSI - not heard of IMSI so I'll look at it. I've read the CDC national stats - and you're right other states are better but we are just looking (at the moment) for best in Houston first given at least we have family to stay with etc. Thanks! I love Dr. Roach and her staff. They did ICSI on our embryos and we had a pretty good fertilization rate.
