When I thought he is probably fine, he'd get a 101+ measurement. When I thought he was burning up (as in I thought it would be at least 101, like last night, when he cried and woke for 5 times), I constantly measure him he was between 99.5-100.5 . My hand-on-forehead has been pretty accurate! I can consistently detect a fever, but am only accurate within a degree or so. Except when his temp hit 102.5 last night; I didn't realize it was that high!</p> <p>How accurate is your hand as a thermometer? </p>
