When I attended, we also attended another school between elementary and middle (4-6). We were bused into the city, as a result of integration. LO is attending a local charter school, and it is split a little differently. Primary (k-3), intermediate(4-6) and JR/SR high school (7-12). The high school was recently opened, and this year it will include its first senior class. The grades may shift around again. We have a child development building/daycare which is 3's preschool, 4's preschool and daycare. The elementary school also has a 4's preschool and it goes up to second grade. Then there is another elementary school that is 3rd-5th. Middle school is 6th-8th and then there is the high school which is obviously 9th-12th.
