If I've seen the piece assembled in the store, I can usually figure out how it'll go together without instructions. I love building stuff. If both the hubby and I are assembling together, I'm the navigator and he's the hands. I read the instructions and tell him what pieces go together while handing him correlating nuts/bolts/screws, etc.</p> <p>We recently bought a new house so we're assembling quite a few Ikea pieces; and I love it!! We used to have an ikea coffee table, end table, and entertainment center and I assembled them all fairly easily. I made DH do the crib and dresser for the nursery though - he's slower at it, but I just didn't feel like dealing with it while pregnant.</p> <p>I should probably add that I used to have to help assemble complicated TV stands all the time for displays at work, so I have much more practice at it than your average person. A bunk bed sounds hard though!
