@autumnlove: The elementals are our favorites too! So far the holes are small but we had one completely disintegrate. I'm not sure I want to get anymore in the new style though. :/

How are the Grovia hybrids in terms of leaks? We have the Grovia AIO and they are in great shape but they are my only diapers that leak sometimes because of their narrow cut.

@Lindsay05: We've had a similar experience. At the one year mark there were no issues whatsoever. I'm guessing that's why the warranty is one year...

@ohapostrophe: @JoyfulKiwi: @LittleGBee: @skibobrown: You ladies might just get me to try BG 4.0s....

Thanks all for the input!

We're on month 17 of BumGenius 4.0. So far they're doing great, and I expect them to last until we stop diapering DD. We hope to use them again on a future baby, but I'm not sure if they will hold up for that long.

We've been using our Bum Genius 4.0 Pocket Diapers for about 21 months now. We dry the covers inside on a dry rack.

The microfiber inserts aren't without their complications, but I've been fairly impressed with them. They are holding up really well and the insides of the covers are also doing fabulously.

Like most of the previous posters, the velcro is mostly useless at this point which I'm bummed about. We need to bulk up our stash for this little one on his way, and I'll be sticking to snaps for any purchases moving forward.

We did a newborn CD rental and I'm excited to try out the TiniBots diapers.

We're at nearly a year and have BumGenius 4.0s. They're all doing great and look like new from the outside. The insides of some are stained, but I don't really care because that's where all the yuck ends up anyway. Our velcros (we've got 6) are doing alright, but I can tell they're starting to wear down.

Just stopped at two years because my daughter asked me to. We used gdiaper and thirsties covers, and prefolds. The gdiaper covers were still great. The thirsties covers with snaps were fine, but the Velcro ones were trashed. Totally avoid those. Prefolds all fine, but stained.

We've been CDing for 23 months. We used mostly fuzzibunz perfect size smalls and BG 4.0s with aplix for the first 12 months. She outgrew the FBs around a year and are in great shape and ready for a future baby (1 or 2 may need new elastic). The aplix is totally shot on the BGs. I'm not sure why I ignored all the advice online not to get aplix, but man, I wish I got them with snaps - everything else about them is in great shape. For the past 11-ish months we've been using BG freetimes with snaps, and they are in awesome shape.

Used my BG 4.0s for 27 months with my first son and just started using them again a few days ago with son #2. The elastic was very stretched out so I just got it replaced (paid someone to do it). Now they're back to looking like new. No stains, holes, anything!

CD'ing for 17 mths w/ mostly Sunbaby dipes, some sized fuzzibunz, fitteds, & prefolds... We now wash every other day, but for the first 13 mths we washed daily, everything gets dried in the dryer on high (ain't nobody got time for air drying dipes here. lol).

Sunbaby: Most are in great condition still. We did start having some leak issues with our printed covers but I think that may be due to the pul itself & not necessarily wear (hidden pul can still have a tendency to wick & leak). The solids are all still in great condition (been used 14 mths).

Fuzzibunz Since they're sized they've all lasted through the time P fit in them.

Fitteds: They've also been sized & P wears them to bed.... we did just have to bleach her current Rearz ones due to ammonia build up but the velcro & elastic are still in great shape after ~ 6 months.

Prefolds: We are starting to get quite a bit of wear on our prefolds but they've been used daily since P was born

Thirsties covers: Still in great condition & will re-use our size 1's for or next baby.

We have lots of different brands. We have been CDing for 14 months now and they are all holding up really great except my flip covers with Velcro fasteners are toast. I emailed bumgenius and said they are covered if it has been within a year of purchasing :(

CDing for 20 months! I dry diapers on an indoor drying rack.
I put inserts in the dryer on low/medium heat.

Grovia Hybrids- the covers look great...Aplix and snaps. The cotton soaker pads are in good condition but some are stained and I'm too lazy to sun them.

Fuzzi Bunz- the snap diapers look great. We have one velcro diaper that doesn't fasten anymore! :-( (it was free when I made a big purchase from Kelly's closet)

BG Elementals- Our favorites...the exteriors look new but the liner areas are really soft so maybe we will get holes soon?

BG 4.0s- Excellent condition! They look brand new!

Thirsties AIOs- The snap diapers look good but the velcro versions are beat up. I think I aged them when I put them in the dryer last year.

Charlie Bananas- they look new

BG Freetimes- Excellent condition!

My BG's that are velcro are already stored away and totally useless. I need to find someone/somewhere who can sew snaps on to them! Thankfully velcro are "just" 6 of my stash, but it would be nice to have them back in rotation.

My FB elastic hasn't held up as well, will need some love before we have another.

My inserts (microfibre) have held up great and I am happy with them!

ETA: CD'ing for 11 months (almost!). Outdoor line drying!

If you've been cloth diapering for a while (at least one year), what brand(s) do you use and how are your diapers holding up?

We've been using cloth for over two years, on our second baby now, and we are starting to see some wear and tear. We are getting holes in the cotton (GMD prefolds and BG elementals) but most of our covers are in great shape, just the econobum lost their elasticity. :( We're probably going to need to replace some soon so I'm interested to hear about long term quality. Thanks in advance!
