And she learns other rules and boundaries really easily so I just don't understand why these two things are such sticking points (shaking the baby gate-- she literally pulled paint off the walls, and running on the couch-- obviously very dangerous). I know both must be fun and hard to resist but still. They're 3.5 and 1.5, my youngest listens a bit better than our "threenager" (love that), but it's not great. Meanwhile, our daughter has become a total threenager!! It's a bit shocking, because she's always been such a great listener. Hoping that it's just a phase, and we get our good listener back! How are your kids listening these days?
