It seems like a lot for an ebf baby but I'm okay with it and have been able to keep up. I wouldn't leave more than that because I think that's all he needs in one sitting.</p> <p>It's interesting because my FF friends give their babies 7-8oz per feed. I think FF babes are used to eating bigger volumes. I read once that ebf babies often take less (sometimes half!) When she first started daycare, I sent 3.5 ounces but as she got a little bigger (around 4 months), I upped the amount a bit. She usually finishes them but her teachers say she seems satisfied so no need to send bigger ones. I ebf but we give her a bottle in MOTN and have been giving her 5 oz. She would eat up to 6 if she could! But I wonder if I'm giving her too much? She's 3 months. He normally drinks three 4oz bottles on Mondays for my MIL and at daycare he takes three 5oz bottles.
