Long enough but narrow. No closet (originally intended to be an office) so we got a tall storage cabinet from Ikea. I found that in the first year, I didn't really need the closet, in fact, there wasn't one in the room and I did an armoire instead. We didn't want to put the crib under a window (draftiness) so that only really left one open wall. Then it really didn't leave a good corner for the glider/ottoman.
