When we got our TV, every show looked like a soap opera because of some frame rate setting. I thought DH was crazy for wanting the 46", as I thought a 42" would be perfectly fine. The price difference was so minimal though that we went with the 46" and it works perfectly in the space. We currently have a 34 or 36 inch toshiba LCD that is about 5 years old. It's too small for our space!! There is currently a great deal at future shop on a 46 inch Samsung.
