DS1 - 10 lbs 9 oz at 39 weeks 1 day - no GD diagnosis

DS2 - 7 lbs 2 oz at 37 weeks 5 days - I controlled my GD through diet.

While I passed my GD test at 28 weeks the 1st time around, I wonder if I just developed it later on, which the doctor said is possible. I also wonder how big Little brother would have gotten if we had made it to his scheduled c section date at 39 weeks. It was bumped up due to low fluid.

I'm only 33w3d but Squish was measuring a shade over 5lb during my growth scan at 32w3d which puts him / her in the 76 percentile and around 9lb at birth. Interestingly enough when I mentioned to the ultrasound tech that I don't seem to grow small babies (Miss A was 8lb9oz) she agreed that although "they" try to put it down to the GD, some women just have bigger babies. To be the fair I now suspect that I actually developed GD during the latter stages of my first pregnancy.

LO 2 was 7 lbs and 14 ounces at 39 weeks. My GD was controlled by diet and exercise. I'm on meds this time despite following the same diet and exercise plan.

I just had a friend who had a 39 week C section and her baby was 12 pounds, 9 oz. Not totally sure if the GD was controlled or not.

I had GD with LO #2 but not LO #1.

LO #2 = 8lbs 2oz - 39weeks

LO #1 = 7lbs 6oz - 40weeks and 3 days!

I was very surprised to find out LO #2 was 12 ozs bigger than LO #1 also being born one week and 3 days earlier. I was able to control my GD with just diet... and I thought I did a good job! Everyone told me I looked smaller with LO #2 also... so he really tucked himself inside of me really well!

Just curious if everyone had a somewhat big baby even if they did well controling their GD. :)
