I plan to breastfeed until age two, so I think we'd probably space them at least two years apart so I don't have to tandem breastfeed. That seems stressful.

The baby that is currently on the way is due in May. Ideally I would like to get pregnant sometime during the END of next summer so they can be two years apart. Honestly, if I don't get pregnant by then I will wait til the following summer because there is NO WAY I am going to be preggo through the summer... NO WAY! We are having a girl now... if #2 is a boy, we will be done.

Atleast 3 years apart. The first one should be potty trained and able to understand basic things before the 2nd one comes along.

DD#1 will be 3 1/2 when DD#2 comes and I think it is the perfect gap. She is fully petty trained, is able to do some things on her own and loves to help!

My oldest is about to be 9 and my youngest turned 5 in Feb.
We are currently TTC number 3 so it will be at least 6 years between our last two., there are about 3 1/2 years between my first two.
I'm not worried about the difference because it will be nice having my older daughters be active in the day to day with their sibling whenever we get one!

There is 8.5 months between my oldest son and my twin boys. Then two years and two months between the twins and my daughter.

The three boys under a year were pretty intense and to be honest I don't remember a whole lot of the first couple of months with three. I didn't get much sleep so I guess my brain was a little foggy. People tell me all the time they don't know how I can do it. I really song know how to answer. It's life and it's what I know and it's great. Sure they stress me out sometimes ( three little boys in the terrible two isn't pleasant) but life is good and I love all my little kiddos

DD and DS are 21 months apart and we plan on trying for #3 when DS is about a year old; I think it's perfect for us. For one, this age gap works well with our career/family plans. I'm finishing up my Masters right now, and I wanted to stay home for a little while, so right now is just about perfect for that.

Secondly, I have difficult pregnancies, and I figure it'll only get harder as I get older. I'd rather just get all the kids born as quickly as possible and be done with it, lol. Babies are so much easier for me than pregnancy.

Finally, some people say it's hard having kids so close in age, but if you don't know anything else, you'll never know the difference! :) Anyway, these first three weeks haven't been bad at all. I figure it'll be relatively easy until DS gets mobile and I get pregnant again. I can deal with those 9 months of difficulty, though, knowing I won't have to do it again.

DH and I figure we'll have our kids roughly two years apart. We have a certain age in mind where we'd like to be finished having children so I can still re-establish a career once everyone's school-age, so a 2 yr apart max would help that plan along. Having said all that, we have yet to welcome home our first so this could all change in an instant!

Ideally, we would have baby #2 when baby #1 is between 3 and 3.5. And then baby #3 when baby #2 is around 3.5...and then I think we'll be done :)

Right now, before having this first baby, our plan is to wait until she is 1.5-3 before we try again, so I guess we'd be looking at somewhere between 2.5 and 4 years between kids. This is based on wanting to enjoy our time with baby 1, adjust to parenthood, get back on track career-wise for me, but still have a chance to be done with kids before 35 (I think three kids is our max) But we'll see how those plans might change once this baby is here...

DDs are 3 years, 5 months apart and I love it. If we were to have #3, he/she would ideally be about 2.5 to 3 years apart from my youngest right now, no closer than that. i already know myself and i need a break in between having newborns and being pregnant! most of my friends love the 3 year gap and say it's "just right"!

Ideally DH & I would like two children under two...crazy?! Maybe! LO is almost 1. How close together do you want your children if you could pick the perfect gap for your family? If you already have more than one child, how far apart are your children? Are you happy with the split?
