I haven't been asked but i think i would probably go with the doctor approach. They were very concerned with how the baby was going to come out! I just said that the doctor would take him out at the hospital and that was enough for them, thank goodness. I felt unprepared because I didn't think he would ask so young. He asked if they cut my belly, and I told him yes because they did. Then he asked if they cut it for his brother (they didn't), so that's what tripped me up. Because I'm an awesome mom I told him that his dad saw better than I did so we should ask him lol. Have you been asked this question by your LO? How old were they?
