With my parents we told them very early, just dropped it into the conversation casually and my parents sat there shocked for like a whole minute! With my sister I texted her that I needed to tell her something important, and she knew right away so we hopped on Skype to talk about it.<br /> I relied on them to spread the word to the rest of the family. We've announced to a few close friends in person and plan to announce to a larger group of friends during a NYE party. But I'm wondering how to announce to friends/family we won't be seeing in person any time soon? I won't be doing a FB announcement any time soon and I feel totally awkward calling and just blurting out "we're pregnant!" Any cute, fun ideas for announcing to friends (e.g. bridesmaids who live far away)/family members (.e.g grandparents, aunts/uncles) we won't see in person for a while? Thanks! </p>
